Connecting the drops
Get your water meter telemetry-ready, at NO cost to you.
Water users across NSW are now required to report their water use automatically and accurately. That means your meter needs to be connected to a telemetry device, a Local Intelligence Device (LID), that sends readings in real time.
To help water users get there, the NSW Government has funded the Telemetry Uplift Program (TUP).
Goanna Ag has been awarded the contract to deliver this program across key NSW valleys. With nearly 20 years of experience in telemetry and water monitoring, we have deployed thousands of devices and built a strong reputation for reliability and in-field support — particularly in remote and challenging environments.
Through this program, your meter can be upgraded to meet reporting requirements at NO cost to you - including hardware, installation and setup.
If your meter is eligible, you can have a LID installed at absolutely no cost, including hardware, installation and ongoing support.

Funding is limited
There are approximately 4,000 eligible meters across NSW, but current funding only covers half of them. Water users who register now won't need to organise or pay for telemetry themselves when compliance requirements tighten further. The first round of 326 installations is underway and expected to complete within 14 weeks.
